ABOUT CHATHAM ATHLETICS

The Chatham Athletic Department now hosts 25 intercollegiate programs with the addition of Men’s and Women’s Wrestling and has 500 student-athletes heading into the fall season.

Men’s Basketball won its third PAC title in the last seven years and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Diaun Pinkett won PAC Player of the Year and was an All-PAC first team selection, while head coach David Richard was named PAC Coach of the Year.

Aurielle Brunner ’25 is now a seven-time All-American, earning the honor in both the long jump and triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was named PAC Overall MVP and PAC Field MVP after winning three events with two second place finishes at the PAC Championships.

Hannah Uhrinek and Ali Cowan each won two events at the PAC Swimming & Diving Championships and took home Newcomer of the Year and Diver of the Year respectively. Head coach James Koval earned Women’s Coach of the Year, and diving coach Vic Galati was named Women’s Diving Coach of the Year.

For Men’s Hockey, Nick Cyprian won UCHC Player of the Year and was selected to the First Team, while Geno Pichora won Co-Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year and was also a First Team selection.

Women’s Basketball appeared in the PAC Final for the third straight season.

36 Cougars were named to their respective sports’ All-Conference Teams, including seven with First-Team honors. (2024)170 student-athletes earning All-Academic Team honors this year, earning over a 3.6 GPA. (2024)
