About this event

Tired of swiping? In this dating experiment, men compete on stage for one lucky bachelorette, with the little caveat that the men can't speak. Through a series of games - which includes calling the boys' moms and unlocking their phones - we narrow it down to two men. Finally, we hear their voices, and the lucky winning man is sent with our bachelorette to the bar for an immediate date. Audience members wear wristbands according to their relationship status, and a wingcouple (who wears actual wings) helps those of you who are too shy to make a move. This show has been featured in LA Magazine, LAist, Thrillist, Time Out LA, CBS, and more.

Frequently asked questions

Is this event 21+?

Yes, sorry!

What's the age range?

I'd love to do shows for all age groups. (I am not-so-secretly dreaming of a "golden" version.) Apply to be a contestant and/or nominate your single friends (or grandpas) at loveisntblind.com.

Is this cishet dating only?

I have done queer iterations of the show and am looking to do more, so please check the website and stay tuned. Also, within the audience, you get wristbands denoting your relationship status & preferences. And that's at EVERY show, straight or gay!

How much of this involves audience participation?

Contestants are vetted & selected in advance. If you're in the audience, there's light participation, but you can opt out if you want to. (You won't want to. ;) )

I'm confused. What time does the show start?

Doors will open at 6:30. You can get your wristbands at 7. The show itself will start at 8 and usually runs about 90 minutes or so. Definitely plan to stay after to mingle. ;)
