BAC In LA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by the Los Angeles Chapter of Black at Compass. Black homeownership rates continue to lag behind all other racial and ethnic groups in the US, with only about 44% of Black households owning their homes. This disparity is reflected in the real estate industry, where Black professionals make up only 6% of the national real estate agent population. These figures highlight ongoing challenges related to access, representation, and equity in the housing sector. Our non profit aims to address and change that by providing knowledge, insights, community, and tools for success.
