We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration hosted by BAC In LA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by the Los Angeles Chapter of Black at Compass. Last year's event focused on real estate, financial health, Black businesses, wellness, and art (see the recap here). This year, we invite you to be part of something even more impactful.

This year's theme: A Day of Wellness 🌿

We're emphasizing mental, physical, spiritual, and financial wellness, with a mission to increase homeownership, build financial literacy, and foster a greater presence of wellness Black real estate professionals.

Black homeownership rates continue to lag behind all other racial and ethnic groups in the US, with only about 44% of Black households owning their homes. This disparity is reflected in the real estate industry, where Black professionals make up only 6% of the national real estate agent population. These figures highlight ongoing challenges related to access, representation, and equity in the housing sector. Our event aims to address and change that by providing knowledge, insights, and tools for success.
